Alfa Romeo has revealed the new Milano compact, bringing sportiness back to the largest segment of the European Market!

In a segment populated by sporty versions derived from generalist models, the Milano offers some much-needed diversity. Its captivating style coupled with its highly advanced technology, connectivity, and driving dynamics offers a truly premium experience. The vehicle will also be available with hybrid and fully electric powertrains.

Milano | Design Features

Designed by the Alfa Romeo Centro Stile in Turin, the Milano redefines beauty by creating an emotional connection at first sight and reinterpreting the brand’s stylistic features.

Exterior Design

To be an Alfa Romeo is to be perfectly balanced between functional beauty and an unparalleled heritage. The new Milan is no exception to this rule. Its compact dimensions encompass the distinctiveness of the Alfa Romeo Centro Stile’s design. The Milanos balance of proportions, purity of lines and attention to the quality of the surfaces denote the meaning of expression in the automotive industry.

The cars stylistic features such as the limited overhangs, muscular wheel arches and the iconic ‘kamm tail, highlight the brands tradition. The Milano boasts a strong identity being made up of a limited number of features including the legendary scudetto shield. A contribution is made to its powerful personality by the bold look of the front, with 3+3, adaptive Full LED Matrix headlights.

Interior Design & Comfort

As well as showcasing exceptional exterior design features, the interior boasts standout features with Italian soul in every detail.

Drivers are the focus throughout the interior, which is evident in the use of the finest materials and the placement of all the controls. The instrument panel features its historical ‘Cannocchiale’ design which persuades you to wrap your hands around the steering wheel. In the middle of the cluster is a fully digital 10.25-inch TFT screen, to access the car’s data and the settings for the driving technologies.

Despite being a compact, the Milano features the largest boot in its class, with a load capacity of as much as 400 liters! As well as this the compact exhibits exclusive features such as a convenient cable storage compartment under the bonnet. To increase the comfort even further, a series of driver assistance features are offered, including the option of Level 2 autonomous driving.

Milano Electtrica

In the electric version of the Milano, Alfa Romeo have opted for a new-generation power source that combines a Hybrid Synchronous Motor and a new battery. This has resulted in high power, torque, anduncompromising driving pleasure with segment-leading dynamics. Available in two power versions, 156 or 240 hp, the new car ensures excellent performance and an engaging and sporty drive. The 156 hp version is capable of up to 250 miles of range in the WLTP cycle, or 366 miles in the urban cycle. Rapid charging is also available on the vehicle with a 10-80% charge from a 100kW rapid charger in less than 30 minutes.

Milano Electtrica Speciale

The Milano Speciale Electtrica (156 hp) launch edition, combines sportiness, technology and comfort! Featuring a unique configuration of a selection of the best specifications Alfa have to offer, on offer in the line-up.

The Speciales notable exterior features are the ‘Progresso’ badge, matte sports finishes with accents in the new and Arese red, and 18-inch Petali alloy wheels. The interior is embellished with a sporty and exclusive look, with a Spiga vinyl and fabric interior, leather steering wheel and electrically operated driver’s seat with massage function. As well as this, eight-colour interior lighting mark out the air vents, central tunnel, and the iconic Cannocchiale.

Milano 240 Veloce

The 240 Veloce boasts all the standard features with the exception of having 20″ alloy wheels as opposed to 18″. As well as this, the Veloce offers ‘Sports Suspension’ and ‘Torsen Limited Slip Differential’.
