Ford has announced that their successful Scrappage Scheme, running since September 2017, will end on 30 June 2018.
Since September 2017 Ford have lead the industry with a highly successful Scrappage Scheme. Offering sizeable customer savings when an eligible older vehicle was scrapped towards a new Ford car drivers have saved between £2,000 and £4,850, with some dealers actually rounding this up to £5,000.
Many other manufactures withdrew their Scrappage Schemes some time ago but Ford has continued to offer drivers the ability to scrap their older vehicles in return for significant savings towards a new Ford. All good things must come to an end though and Ford have now announced that their scrappage scheme is, well, being scrappaged!
