Peugeot has revealed the new all-new E-5008, which sets a new benchmark of being the only electric SUV to offer seating for seven passengers! Not only this but it comes with a choice of three powertrains and is capable of up to 410 miles of range.
E-5008: Design Elements
The new E-5008 cuts a powerful figure with its strong SUV character. It boasts both an aerodynamic silhouette and a refined interior offering exceptional space and unmatched onboard comfort.
Exterior
The new E-5008 proudly displays Peugeot’s latest lighting signature at the front. The innovative grille design seamlessly blends into the body color, highlighted by a sleek black band that wraps around the entire front. This band incorporates ultra-slim LED headlights on all versions. GT models take it a step further with standard Pixel LED technology that automatically adapts to traffic conditions, ensuring optimal lighting for you without bothering other drivers.
Building on the innovative wheels of the Peugeot 408 and E-3008, the new E-5008 takes design and performance to the next level. It offers a choice of 19-inch or 20-inch wheels, all featuring a geometric design that showcases the Peugeot emblem in the center.
The new E-5008 is available in six colours:
- Obsession Blue,
- Ingaro Blue,
- Okenite White,
- Nera Black,
- Cumulus Grey,
- and Titane Grey.
On the GT version, two-tone paint with a diamond black roof is specified as standard.
Interior
As you step inside the new E-5008 you experience a level of interior refinement that elevates every journey. Passengers in both the front and rear are treated to a luxurious ambiance thanks to thoughtful design elements. Elegant aluminium trim graces the dashboard and stretches across the front doors, creating a sense of continuity. This is further enhanced by customizable ambient LED lighting, available in a stunning eight-colour palette, that washes over the interior from the dash to the rear. The combined effect is a welcoming and sophisticated environment that ensures everyone on board feels pampered.
The E-5008 is incredibly versatilile, seating up to seven passengers. The third row features a comfortable bench with two individual backrests and adjustable headrests, ensuring everyone gets a good view. But functionality isn’t all you get – Peugeot prioritised passenger comfort in the back too. The cushions are thicker and softer, the backrests are taller for better support, and there’s even optimised headroom to accommodate adults comfortably.
E-5008: Performance
The E-5008 boasts an impressive all-electric range of 311 to 410 miles on a single charge, with an available all-wheel-drive option. This long range is achieved through an efficient platform design and a high-performance battery. Peugeot understands that not everyone is ready to fully commit to electric, so they also offer the E-5008 with a 48V hybrid option for a smoother transition. Additionally, a plug-in hybrid option provides the benefits of electric driving for shorter commutes with the security of a gasoline engine for longer trips.
E-5008: Trims
The new E-5008 is available in two trims: ALLURE and GT, both of which can offer up to seven seats.
Allure
The Peugeot E-5008 Allure boasts a sleek exterior with a single-tone paint job. Inside, the cabin combines style and sustainability with half vegan leather and half embossed fabric featuring “QUARTZ” stitching. Packed with technology, the Allure comes standard with a giant 21-inch curved touchscreen, customizable controls, and an advanced infotainment system. For added comfort and convenience, it offers ambient lighting, wireless phone charging, keyless entry, a rearview camera and parking sensors, plus stylish 19-inch alloy wheels.
GT
Stepping up from the Allure, the E-508 GT goes for a bolder look with a two-tone paint job featuring a contrasting Diamond Black roof. Inside, it pampers passengers with luxurious Alcantara® upholstery accented by “Iced Clay” stitching. The GT boasts a range of upgrades for enhanced performance and convenience, including larger 20-inch alloy wheels, Pixel LED headlights for superior visibility, and stylish 3D LED taillights. Front parking sensors, a hands-free power tailgate, heated seats and steering wheel, and adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go functionality round out the GT’s impressive list of features.
