The Alfa Romeo Giulia and Stelvio have once again been successful in the Autonis design competition! The competition is held by the trade magazine auto motor und sport. The Giulia dominated in the mid-size category, with more than 66% of the vote. The Stelvio achieved the award within the SUV/off-road category.
The Most Beautiful Car
The German car magazine Auto Motor Und Sport asked their readers A question, “What is the most beautiful car?”. The response was clear and definitive, the people loved the Giulia and Stelvio. You can see why these cars have immaculate design present throughout the exterior and interior.
This is the 18th year since the competition began. There were over 100 cars competing across 12 categories. The recently revamped and award-winning Alfa Romeo Giulia sports saloon won in the midsize car category by a landslide, with 66.4% of the votes. In the large SUV/off-road vehicle category, the updated Stelvio also triumphed with 39.7% of the vote.

A design Inspiration
During this year’s Autonis Design Award, the magazine Auto Motor Und Sport also asked their readers whether a cars design can still inspire years after its debut. 14,500 readers who voted agreed that Alfa Romeo’s vehicles certainly can. This is not surprise considering that Alfa Romeo’s design is based on the concept of “timeless beauty”.
Readers of Auto Motor Und Sport have repeatedly expressed their appreciation for Alfa Romeo’s design concepts. Having named the Giulietta, MiTo, Tonale, and previous editions of the Giulia and Stelvio as “the most beautiful car” throughout the 18 years of the Autonis Design Awards.
