Vauxhall has the best-selling EVs in the small electric car and small electric SUV segments so far this year! This is according to the latest new car registration figures published by the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT).
The Vauxhall Corsa Electric is the top-selling small electric car year-to-date, with over 1,700 registered vehicles. The Vauxhall Mokka Electric, however, has outperformed every other small electric SUV in the market in 2023. Having achieved over 3,900 registrations.
The two models are just two of Vauxhall’s growing and diverse electrified range. Vauxhall has fully electric versions of the Corsa, Mokka, Combo Life, and Vivaro Life, passenger cars available. As well as this there are Plug-in Hybrid power versions of the Astra, Astra Sports Tourer and Grandland.
This year Vauxhall are set to release two new electric variants, the Astra and Astra Sports Tourer. Vauxhall’s Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV) line-up already features a fully electric variant across each model. Vauxhall is the best-selling electric LCV manufacturer so far in 2023. They have topped the sales charts for the past two years. This is a promising foreshadow of what’s to come as By 2028, Vauxhall will be an electric-only manufacturer. This is seven years ahead of UK Government deadlines. We hope to see many more best selling ev’s in the years to come.
